Privacy Policy
Effective November 5, 2026. How we collect, use, and protect your information.
1. Introduction
Welcome to BiznizLab ("BiznizLab," "we," "us," or "our").
BiznizLab is a live AI training service that makes artificial intelligence accessible, practical, and understandable for everyday people. We offer live training sessions, including a free taster session, single-topic sessions, tool-specific sessions, and group training on request. Sessions are taught live by an AI educator. There are no user accounts on this website: you do not sign up, sign in, or create a password. To book a session, you send a booking request through our registration form, and we confirm your date and time by email.
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we store and share it, and how we protect it when you visit our website, request a session, send us a message, or leave feedback.
By using BiznizLab, you acknowledge that you have been provided with this Privacy Policy. Where required by applicable law, we will request your consent before collecting, using, or disclosing your personal information.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the information needed to run the training service. We do not collect quiz answers or track learning progress, because the website has no quizzes and no learning accounts.
Booking requests. When you request a session through the registration form, we collect your full name, email address, phone number (optional), the training you selected, the date and time you requested, and the number of people in your booking.
Contact messages. When you send a message through the contact form, we collect your full name, email address, the topic of your message (general question, individual training, group training, or other), and your message.
Feedback. When you leave feedback after a session, we collect your full name, email address, the training you attended, your session rating and confidence rating, whether you would recommend the training, your written answers about what was most useful, what could be better, and what you would like to learn next, and whether you give permission to share your feedback on the website (first name only).
Payment information. Paid sessions are paid through Stripe Checkout. We do not see or store your card details. Stripe handles card information directly, and its privacy practices apply to that information. We receive only the payment status, the amount paid, and transaction identifiers from Stripe.
Technical information. When you visit the website, our hosting provider may record your IP address, browser type and device information, and the pages you visited. We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand general website usage. It does not use cookies and does not track you across websites.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use personal information only for purposes connected to operating the training service, including:
- Reviewing your booking request and confirming your date and time by email
- Sending a payment link for a paid booking, and confirming your session after payment
- Answering your questions and responding to contact messages
- Following up on your feedback
- Improving our training sessions and website
- Protecting the service against fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access
- Complying with applicable legal obligations
We do not currently send marketing newsletters. If we introduce marketing emails in the future, we will ask for your consent first and follow the rules in Section 11.
We limit the collection and use of personal information to what is reasonably necessary for these purposes.
4. AI Tools and Third-Party Links
BiznizLab teaches about artificial intelligence tools, including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, and Google Flow. The website itself does not run AI demonstrations and does not send anything you type to an AI provider. Our training sessions are live, taught by a person.
Our website may contain links to external websites and AI platforms discussed in our training. Those services operate under their own privacy policies and terms, and we are not responsible for their practices. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before sharing personal information with them.
As a general rule, avoid entering passwords, financial information, confidential business data, medical records, or other sensitive information into any third-party AI tool.
5. Cookies and Website Analytics
This website does not set cookies of its own. It does not remember your preferences between visits, and there is no cookie banner because there are no cookies to consent to.
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand general website usage. It does not use cookies and does not identify you personally.
Stripe Checkout may set cookies on Stripe's own pages while you complete a payment. Those cookies are governed by Stripe's privacy practices.
If we introduce cookies in the future, we will update this policy and obtain consent where required by law.
6. Third-Party Service Providers
We use the following trusted service providers to run the service:
- Vercel (United States): website hosting and website analytics.
- Supabase (United States): database storage for booking requests, contact messages, and feedback.
- Resend (United States): sending booking, payment, and contact emails.
- Stripe (United States and other countries where Stripe operates): payment processing through Stripe Checkout.
- ImprovMX: receiving email sent to support@biznizlab.com.
These providers process personal information only to provide their service to us, under their own terms and applicable safeguards. Some providers process or store information outside Canada, including in the United States, where privacy laws differ from Canadian law.
7. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell personal information to anyone, including data brokers.
We may disclose information:
- To the service providers listed in Section 6, only to run the service
- When necessary to deliver a service you requested, such as confirming a booking
- With your consent
- When required by applicable law or a valid legal process
- To investigate fraud, security incidents, or misuse
- As part of a legitimate business transfer, subject to applicable privacy requirements
We do not disclose personal information for unrelated marketing purposes.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, and misuse. These include encrypted communications (HTTPS), access controls on our service providers, and restricted access to personal information.
However, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security. If you suspect your information has been misused in connection with BiznizLab, please contact us at support@biznizlab.com.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to run the training service and to satisfy applicable legal, accounting, security, and regulatory requirements.
Booking records are kept while a booking is active and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can answer questions about past sessions. Feedback is kept so we can improve our training. Contact messages are kept until your question is resolved.
When information is no longer required, we delete it or anonymize it, subject to applicable legal obligations.
10. Your Privacy Rights
Subject to applicable privacy laws, you may request to:
- Access personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- Withdraw consent for certain uses of your information
- Request deletion of personal information, where applicable
- Obtain information about how your data is used or disclosed
- Raise concerns about our privacy practices
Certain requests may be limited by legal obligations or legitimate retention requirements.
To exercise your rights, please contact us at support@biznizlab.com. We may need to verify your identity before processing a request.
11. Email Communications and Marketing
We send essential emails relating to your booking: confirmation of your date and time, payment links for paid sessions, session confirmations, and replies to your messages.
For commercial electronic messages, we follow applicable Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) requirements, including consent, sender identification, and unsubscribe obligations. Any marketing email we send will include a way to unsubscribe. Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent essential booking and service emails.
12. Children's Privacy
BiznizLab is designed for adults and individuals seeking to develop their AI knowledge and professional skills.
Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate parental or guardian authorization. If we become aware that personal information was collected from a child without required authorization, we will take appropriate steps to address the situation.
Additional protections and consent requirements may apply to minors under applicable laws.
13. International Visitors
BiznizLab operates from Canada and may be accessible to users in other countries.
Personal information may be processed in Canada or in the countries where our service providers operate, as listed in Section 6.
Users outside Canada may have additional rights under applicable local privacy laws. Where those laws apply, we will respect the relevant requirements.
14. External Websites and AI Platforms
Our website may contain links to external websites, educational resources, and AI platforms, including third-party tools discussed in our training materials.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or security of independently operated websites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of third-party services before sharing personal information.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our services, technologies, legal obligations, or privacy practices.
When changes are made, we will update the effective date shown at the beginning of this policy. For material changes, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent where required by applicable law.
